Year 5 studied the work of Henry Moore as a war artist in WW2. We looked at the style of his air raid shelter drawings and recreated them, thinking about his use of line and materials. As part of our work, we had a visit from Kitty McCurdy, who is a local artist and parent. She modelled the technique of sketching.  We also made a whole class artwork.
